Overview
kelati.media is the media kit for my Seattle content business. Its job is to help brands, venues, and event organizers quickly understand who my audience is, what I can make for them, and how to work with me, all on one page they can open from a DM or email.
I designed, built, and wrote the site myself.
Features
- Hero and call to action – “Inside the culture” headline, an “Available for partnerships” badge, and a “Work With Me” button that jumps straight to contact.
- Stats at a glance – Engagement, views, and total reach across TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
- Content ticker – A scrolling strip of what I cover: events, concerts, Mariners games, food reviews, and hidden gems.
- Audience breakdown – “Who’s watching,” with per-platform followers, gender split, age ranges, and top locations.
- Partnership options – Six packages (Events Feature, Short Form Video, Event Coverage, Restaurant / Venue Feature, UGC / Brand Content, Custom Campaign), each with a “Best for” line so brands can pick quickly.
- Content highlights – Carousels of featured series, like Seattle Events and Best Seattle Burgers.
- Event gallery – A captioned grid of artists and events I’ve covered.
- Contact and socials – An email call to action plus TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram links.
How I Built It
- Astro – The site is built with Astro and generated as static HTML, so pages load fast and there’s no server to maintain.
- Vercel – Hosted on Vercel.
- Cloudinary – Photos and media are served through Cloudinary, which resizes and compresses images for each device.
Performance
- Lightweight by default – Astro ships plain HTML and CSS with very little JavaScript, which keeps the page quick to load.
- Optimized images – Cloudinary delivers right-sized, compressed images instead of full-size uploads.
- Mobile-first – Designed for phones first, then scaled up for larger screens.
- Tested – Checked with Google Lighthouse for performance.
Cost
The only thing I paid for was the kelati.media domain. Hosting on Vercel and image delivery on Cloudinary both run on their free tiers, so a fully custom, fast media kit costs about the same as a domain renewal each year.
